Post 1.2

Well, at least a few of you have expressed some interest, so I guess I should carry on and see where it takes us. Here's your daily dose:

  1. The mark of your ignorance is the depth of your belief in injustice and tragedy. What the caterpillar calls the end of the world the Master calls a butterfly.
  2. A house divided against itself shall not stand.
  3. All you need is love.
  4. Two things are infinite: The universe and human stupidity...and I'm not sure about the universe.
  5. There never was a good war or a bad peace.
Discuss.

Excellent question. It is too earlier for any of you to have noticed, but there is a pattern to the quotes. Those of a certain number in a given week are related. As for the #2s...they are all Abraham Lincoln. Perhaps that makes the first one all the funnier.

I want second quote 5. It is so true.

Valid point. But, since dating is arbitrary in the first place, I'll create my own version. I love defining away complications.

Okay, since this forum is open to whatever we want to do while keeping in theme. Here's a favorite quote of mine. It's from my dad.

"There's a fine line between tough and dumb. And many times a man will cross that line without knowing it."
